An imprinter is a very useful tool if you intend to process card payments when an electronic terminal isn't viable or available.

Most retailers don't realise that an imprinter can be a valuable form of protection against chargeback's.

As a retailer if you ever have to manually enter the customers card number (by 'pan' keying) into your electronic terminal whilst the customer is present you must take and retain an imprint of their card to prove the customer was present at the point of sale. Failure to do this can lead to a chargeback being upheld if the customer ever queries the transaction (regardless if the transaction was actually genuine or not)

We offer four models of imprinter to best meet your needs.

Model 840 Electric imprinter - The Addressograph Bartizan 840 electric imprinter is the imprinter of choice for Hoteliers all over the world. The 840 provides quality imprint with ultimate ease of use and speed of operation to ensure a seamless check process. The 840s open head design and standard ink roller allows imprints to be taken onto plain paper or non NCR form as well as bank supplied sales vouchers. The 840 can be fitted with a metal plate embossed with your details. The plate has 4 lines available and space for 15 characters per line.

Please Note: Imprinter 840 can be supplied with 110 Volt or 240 Volt power supply. Please ensure your power supply is compatible before placing your order.

Model 871 pump handle - Very robust unit that is very quick and easy to use designed for high volume applications. (Ideal for use in Hotels for capturing Credit Card details onto Cheques, Letter Heads, Invoices and Receipts.)

Model 4850 - Standard flatbed imprinter offering great value and a high quality imprint. (Two Part receipt slip required when using this product)

Model 990 Portable imprinter - Small lightweight unit that can be used on the move or when storage space is tight. (Two Part receipt slip required when using this product)

Sales Vouchers -  We can supply 2ply sales vouchers for with all Addressograph Bartizan imprinters. The two part vouchers are manufactured from self-contained paper which allows high quality imprints to be taken. Vouchers are serial numbered and can be used when an imprint is taken for later manual entry into an electronic terminal or when a deposit or guarantee of payment is required. These vouchers are not suitable for banking.

Embossed Plate Manufacture - All imprinters can be fitted with a metal embossed plate with your details. Please refer to the list below to determine for plate specification.
